A strong team: BRITA Philosophy and BRITA Compliance
What defines our company, what goals we pursue, and how we want to work together? The BRITA Philosophy provides the answers. It outlines not only our identity, vision and mission, but also our core values – the beliefs that guide everything we do. Complementing this, our compliance culture ensures adherence to legal requirements, regulations and ethical standards across the entire supply chain.
Our commitment to social responsibility
At BRITA, we are committed to fostering a fair and respectful working environment. In everything we do, we strive to live up to our own high standards and values. Compliance with rules and laws is a given for us. Our goal is to act with integrity at all times – to protect our company, our employees and everyone we work with, including the BRITA brand.

Our Code of Conduct sets out clear rules that apply to all employees of the BRITA Group. It is binding for how we work together and forms the foundation for all our business activities.
But for us, compliance goes further. It also means taking responsibility for what happens in our name. We expect fair and dignified working conditions from our business partners across the entire supply chain. We also expect them to prioritise environmental and climate protection just as highly as we do. To this end, we have defined clear requirements in our Supplier Code of Conduct, compliance with which is a prerequisite for entering into a contractual relationship with BRITA.
We do not tolerate any violations of human rights — neither within our company nor in our supply chains. The measures we take to identify and address human rights risks at an early stage are set out in our Human Rights Policy and our annual Human Rights Statement.
To prevent or respond appropriately to violations of human rights and laws, as well as breaches of our Code of Conduct and other BRITA policies, we have established the BRITA whistleblowing system. This system gives our employees and all business partners the opportunity to report suspected misconduct within the BRITA Group or in our supply chains — anonymously if they wish. Our Rules of Procedure ensure that all reports are handled with the utmost care and treated in strict confidence.
